The 7:30 report
Good morning sunshine! After several hours with nothing but trucks for company, the world is waking up again. We’ve been slowed down by a couple of punctures, but apart from that it’s been a great night.
Clancy, Andy and Justin have all proved their stamina with their second rides. Justin was determined to join the 100km club with Josh, and ended up going one step (or rather 10km) further to set a new record for the trip so far. Despite some fairly inadequate snoozing on the bus seats between rides or pit stops, everyone is awake and in good spirits.
We’ve just stopped at the servo for a much needed toilet break, which has increased morale considerably in several members of the team.
Thanks to those who got up early to check how we were progressing. We look forward to seeing many of you in Ballarat.
