On the road

We’re excited and roaring along after an 11 o’clock start this morning from the Sydney Opera House. Tourists and locals stopped to have a look inside the bike and take photos as we waited to begin our adventure.

Clancy Purdie took on the challenging task of riding Illumenator through the streets of Sydney and many heads were turned as we passed by. After taking a wrong turn in the heart of the city we got back on track in no time.

Andrew White was the next person to ride. A challenge for him was waiting in a long line of traffic after road works stretched the highway. He was keeping a steady pace of 80km/h for much of his ride.

Justin and Lucas Brennan have since had turns and both put in strong stints covering over 130kms between them.

We really appreciate all the comments you’ve been leaving on our blog. Keep them coming.

Hey guys, good to see you still motoring along. What a great effort! Take care on the roads tonight. I will ask for a little heavenly protection for all of you. Plan to see you in Ballarat tomorrow.
